Our expeditions

PrintE-mail

We run adventure expeditions in Borneo, Costa Rica & Nicaragua and India for individuals and groups of all ages, nationalities and backgrounds. These involve volunteering on community projects and environmental projects as well as undertaking tough adventure challenges. All our volunteer expeditions are designed to be challenging, life-changing experiences. The more you put in, the more you get out of it!

Main overseas expeditions

  • For 17-24 year olds volunteering on their gap year as an alternative to travelling alone or backpacking, or referred through a youth agency or host country partnership
  • For 25+ year olds volunteering whilst on a career break or enjoying retirement
  • Choose from our unique 10 week (with 3 and a half and 7 week shorter options) or 5 week expeditions throughout the year
  • Volunteers work together on much needed community projects and environmental projects alongside young people from the host country and local skilled workers

Tailor made adventure expeditions for groups
We have developed itineraries for school expeditions and corporate expeditions as well as for youth and membership organisations, whether it's a leadership training programme for the Ministry of Defence or personal development for groups like Hereford Expedition Group (youth services).

We believe the success of our expeditions is due to three key factors:

1. Our expeditions provide transformational journeys for people who join from all walks of life, including young people from the host country
2. Our community and environmental projects are based on long-term partnerships with host countries to make sure the work done by our volunteers really makes a difference
3. Our expeditions are carried out to the highest safety standards with full-time staff based in our countries
