Application Form – Re:Green Volunteer Manager

Thank you for deciding to apply to volunteer with Raleigh International!

A few things before you start…

  1. This application is for Project Manager, Adventure Project Manager and Project Support Coordinator roles on our Re:Green programme based in the UK. If you are looking to apply for a role on our overseas Expeditions, please complete our Expedition Volunteer Manager form or Medic Application Form.

  2. Please read our terms and conditions and the Raleigh International Code of Conduct. We operate a no alcohol policy on our programmes. Please note, due to changing operational practices in response to Covid-19, we are currently reviewing our terms and conditions regarding cancellations and insurance cover. We will write to you once these are finalised to confirm changes. You will have the opportunity to review and agree (or reject, withdraw and ask for any monies returned) in the near future.

  3. We apologise that we will not be accepting applications for Re:Green programmes in 2021 from volunteers based outside the UK. We hope we will be able to open this up to international volunteers from 2022.

  4. The form must be completed all in one go (you can’t save and come back to it later) so please give yourself plenty of time. We suggest you look through the whole form before you start, to make sure you have all the information you will need.

  5. Medical condition or concern? Our programmes are open to anyone who wants to apply, but it must be safe for you to take part. Please read our medical form. You don’t need to complete this form until your application has been approved and you have been sent details of how and when to do so. If you have or previously have had any physical or mental health conditions or are currently taking any prescription medications, please book a call with the Raleigh Medical Team using this link. You can apply before you have spoken to the Medical team however your place will not be guaranteed until after you have spoken to one of the Nurses if you have a medical condition or concern.

  6. Offers are subject to a criminal records check or DBS. Having a criminal record will not necessarily prevent you from joining a Raleigh programme; however we ask that you disclose this information as early as possible in the application process. If there is anything you need to disclose in relation to this please contact our Volunteer Journey Manager, Lucy Burrows Smith for a confidential chat on +44 (0) 207 183 1274 before you apply.

  7. Do you have a question about the application form or are experiencing any problems completing the form? Just give us a call on +44 (0)20 7183 1270 or email volunteermanagers@raleighinternational.org and we can help.

We look forward to receiving your application!
