9th November 2013
The volunteers on the ICS programme have now nearly reached the midway point of their time in Tanzania. On Monday 11th November they will all be travelling to Singida, a town to the northwest of Morogoro, for their midterm review. This will consist of debriefing on how their projects are going so far as well as an opportunity for the groups to share their ideas and give suggestions to the other groups. All groups will also have a chance to submit a proposal for a secondary project (Dragon's Den style...) in order to secure further funding for this! There will of course also be some time off to relax and explore the town of Singida (and of course a chance for a proper shower...).
If you have any messages that you would like to be passed on to members of the Charlie groups please ensure that these are posted on the blog over the next couple of days. These will then be printed off and given to the appropriate person at midterm. Please can you ensure that the name of who they are intended for is clear on the blog post (ideally surname as well) otherwise unfortunately we cannot get them to the right person!
