All volunteers were allocated into one of four Tango teams. These are the teams that they will work in during their training, before their final allocation into their project groups (Charlie 1, 2, 3 or 4) in a couple of days’ time.
One of the first tasks that they were given was to prepare a blog entry for posting. They have been briefed to produce a short summary of their experiences so far and to add a photograph too…..So, watch this space at the weekend, as there should be exciting blog posts written from the perspective of four different teams of young people to enjoy!
In other news, Zoe, from Raleigh International head office in London has been visiting this week. She works in the team which helps select volunteers for the ICS programme in the UK.
Zoe has taken an active role in all of our sessions so far and it has been really great to have her around.
Training at WoCo
All UKVs (UK volunteers) safely arrived yesterday and have joined our ICVs (in country volunteers) for a few days of training at WoCo, our dedicated training centre, which can be found just down the road from field base in Morogoro.
