El día mas esperado para cada Líder de grupo ya llegó. Después de pasar 5 días de un intensivo entrenamiento y teniendo la oportunidad de conocerse unos a otros, nuestros 17 Lideres de grupo ya saben la localización de su proyecto y quien será por 10 semanas su compañer@ TL.
The most highly anticipated day for the Team Leaders has arrived. After 5 days of intensive training and getting to know each other, our 18 Team Leaders have no been allocated to their projects - this means that they know where they will be working for the next ten weeks, and with who.

El día mas esperado para cada Líder de grupo ya llegó. Después de pasar 5 días de un intensivo entrenamiento y teniendo la oportunidad de conocerse unos a otros, nuestros 18 Lideres de grupo ya saben la localización de su proyecto y quien será por 10 semanas su compañer@ TL.
Ayer en la noche, luego de la cena, teníamos a unos líderes de grupo muy emocionados y a la vez nerviosos, no es para menos, fue la noche en que se asignó la localización de cada proyecto y al compañero TL con quien van a trabajar durante más de 10 semanas, la atmósfera estaba llena de emoción y durante todo el día preguntaban continuamente a qué hora iban a saber la localización del lugar donde van trabajar.
Cuándo dimos a conocer la información, todos estaban muy emocionados y llenos de ilusión, querían saber todo acerca de sus comunidades y el trabajo que iban a hacer en ellas, era un ambiente de total festejo. Hoy se preparan para su primera visita a las comunidades, donde van a tener la oportunidad de diseñar el plan con los socios de proyecto y conocer a todas las familias donde van a estar viviendo los voluntarios.

Para todos los voluntarios que están esperando ansiosos conocer quiénes serán sus TL's, próximamente vamos a estar hablando un poco de cada uno de ellos.

Last night, the Team Leaders were excited yet nervous. No wonder, it was 'allocations' night whereby they were matched up and assigned to a project. There was an atmosphere of excitement and anticipation, and all day long people kept asking what time they would get the big news.
After making the announcement, there was huge relief combined with yet more nervous excitement. All of the groups wanted to know all about their communities and the work they would be doing. Today they are preparing for their first visit to the communities where they will be planning with both the project partners and community leaders, as well as getting to know the families that will be hosting their volunteer groups.

To all of the volunteers who arrive in less than two weeks time and are eagerly waiting to know who their TLs are, we'll be writing a blog all about them tomorrow.
