All the team-leaders and volunteer managers have been paired up and assigned to the communities in which they will be living and working for the following 6 months.

Today was an exciting day at Raleigh Tanzania field base. All the team-leaders and volunteer managers have been paired up and assigned to the communities in which they will be living and working for the following 6 months. With anticipation in the air, drum rolls accompanied the announcements which were received with cheering and applause. All the ICSE projects will be working to develop the entrepreneurial skills of young people involved in the dairy industry in rural Tanzania and will be based near the region of Mbeya. The teams will be collaborating with our project partner, EADD (East Africa Dairy Development) to engage youth into the dairy value chain and scale existing businesses. It is a new and very exciting project and our team leaders can’t wait to begin the hard work.

So here are the team leaders and the communities:

In a couple of days the team leaders will set off on a project planning visit, in which they will find out more about the communities, host families, and project partners in order to help them prepare for the volunteers’ arrival in less than two weeks time!
