Kennedy's ICS team in Tanzania

This month at Raleigh head office we had a very exciting visitor; Raleigh Tanzania alumnus Kennedy Mmari! He was in the UK to attend the Youth Summit on behalf of Raleigh alumni in Tanzania and across the world.

Once he settled in with the communications team, Kennedy wrote a guest blog to tell us about how Raleigh ICS has changed his life and all the exciting things he has been involved with since!

Equally as colourful as our surroundings here in Morogoro are the characters who make up our core Fieldbase team. Fieldbase is what we call the operational hub of our programmes in Tanzania. It is also the headquarters for Expedition and ICS Volunteer Managers and the permanent Raleigh Tanzania team. For the Fieldbase team, this will be both their home and their office over the coming few months.

Welcome to the new ICS programme blog for Raleigh Tanzania 15Z! From September to December we are running both the ICS WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) and Entrepreneur projects here in Tanzania and the advance team has spent their first week busy getting ready for the arrival of our 26 Team Leaders from across Tanzania and the UK.
