November Charlie 1

November Charlie 1 (NC1) will be working in Simaltar, where they will carry on with the work of previous 16U cycle, in addition to their own projects in afore mentioned sectors. NC1 will be led by UK team leader Katie, and In-country team leader Som. NC1 consists of 11 volunteers, where 6 of them are from the UK while 5 of them are in-country volunteers.

November Charlie 2

November Charlie 2 (NC2) will also be continuing with the work of the last cycle, along with their own projects in the village of Bagdali. Our last cycle in Bagdali was well heard of amongst the volunteers, due to their thoughtful construction of the “Bagdali Bamboo Bridge”(https://raleighnepal.org/blog/nepal-ics/bagdali-bamboo-bridge/) This cycle, Bagdali will witness the work of 10 volunteers where there will be equal number of UK and in-country volunteers. The volunteers will be led by our In-country team leader Shashi and Uk team leader Beth.

November Charlie 3

November Charlie 3 (NC3) is one of the teams led by 3 team leaders instead of 2. Our UK team leaders Edward and Nick will be working together with our in-country team leader Nishan to lead a team of 5 In-country and 8 UK volunteers. NC3 will be working in the communities of Ikchung, which is also a continuation of our last cycle.

November Charlie 4

November Charlie 4 (NC4) will be working in the communities of Kiteni, which witnessed the work of Raleigh volunteers in the first cycle, 16R. With absence of volunteer placement in the second cycle due to monsoon, it will be exciting to see Kiteni welcome our Raleigh volunteers after a long time. NC4 will be led by UK team leader Hugh, and In-country team leader Kushal, who himself, was a volunteer in the last cycle in Ikchung. They will be working with 6 UK volunteers and 5 In-country volunteers. NC4 has an added advantage of having a UK volunteer of Nepalese origin, Ristha, who speaks fluent Nepali and is already familiar with Nepalese society and culture.

November Charlie 5

November Charlie 5 (NC5) will be working in Ghantikhola, which is a new addition to our Raleigh ICS.  Ghantikhola will be welcoming 5 In-country and 7 UK volunteers of Raleigh for the first time.  NC5 consists of 5 In-country volunteers and 7 UK volunteers, where the team will be led by In-country team leader Samip and UK team leader Joanna.

November Charlie 6

November Charlie 6 (NC6) will be working in Aghor, with 3 team leaders leading the team of 4 In-country and 6 UK volunteers. The team will be led by Manish, our In-country team leader, along with our UK team leaders, Ashleigh and Ben. Aghor will also carry out the works of our last cycle, in addition to the new projects of their own.
