Like an adventure and want to do something impactful? Lead our adventure projects!

The Adventure Project Manager involves facilitating a group of young volunteers during the adventure phase of a Raleigh expedition.

The adventure phase typically involves a 19 day trek designed develop the volunteers’ leadership skills, whilst also teaching them map-reading, survival and camp craft skills. This role is one of the most hands-on within the volunteer manager team. You will ensure the effective and safe delivery of our adventure phases. In return, you will get the chance to see some of the most breath-taking scenery as our groups trek through areas and national parks inaccessible to tourists. This is a fantastic opportunity to use your Mountain Leader or trekking skills to support a group of young volunteers.

You don’t necessarily need project management experience but the ability to motivate and inspire young volunteers is essential. You will need to be Mountain Leader qualified or assessed or have extensive experience of trekking or other outdoor activities.
