ICS team leaders in discussion in Nepal

Want to inspire and support volunteers whilst developing your leadership skills? Raleigh is looking for dedicated and enthusiastic Team Leaders to volunteer on International Citizen Service (ICS).

ICS is a UK government-funded programme that brings together 18-25 year olds from all backgrounds to fight poverty. We need Team Leaders to help us deliver safe and impactful projects.

For this role you’ll need the confidence to work independently and take responsibility for the success of a community project with a local Team Leader.

You and fellow Team Leader will be leading a group of up to 14 volunteers. They will be from the UK and the local country. You could be working on a Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) project. These help provides people with better access to safe water and sanitation.

There are also opportunities to support our livelihoods projects. These projects build the skills and confidence of young people in developing countries. You will support them to create local businesses or enterprises so they can secure a brighter future for themselves and their family.

If you have relevant experience in either of these programmatic areas please make sure to include it in your application.

This is a fantastic opportunity to live and work alongside remote communities and contribute to impactful development projects. ICS gives Team Leaders the chance to gain demonstrable experience of managing a project that’s perfect for boosting your career, or even helping you find a new one.
