In 2015, Raleigh alumni and other volunteers donated thousands of hours of their time, enabling us to support 903 Expedition volunteers and 1,370 International Citizen Service (ICS) volunteers on Raleigh programmes. Thank you!
“I have recently given talks on Raleigh and watching the expression and reaction from the groups I am talking to makes me realise that my Raleigh experiences, which I now consider to be normal, are actually extraordinary moments which many people may never get to experience”.
– Rebecca, Volunteered in Costa Rica
There are many ways to share your experience and enthusiasm with future volunteers – for some you don’t need to be alumni. Please explore our roles below.
Have you got a Raleigh story to share? We work alongside alumni at events across the UK, both to inspire young people to join us and prepare those already signed up.
Facilitate / Assess
Whether it’s facilitating or assessing candidates, our alumni and other UK volunteers are an essential support to preparing volunteers. We couldn’t deliver without you!
Are you keen to help out, without speaking, facilitating or assessing (or at least not right now)? There are meals to cook, young people to mentor, and funds to raise!
Keen to help but unsure how? Not in the UK?
Wherever you are, if you’d like to share your time with Raleigh, we we’d love to hear from you. Contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org or on +44 (0)20 7183 1270. We also have several alumni societies across the world – find out how to join.
