An exciting new programme for school groups
With programmes beginning in 2026, this collaboration brings together two respected organisations: Raleigh International, with over 40 years of experience delivering youth expeditions around the world, and Camps International, a leading school travel provider known for trusted, ATOL-protected group travel. Together, they are launching a new programme of two-week overseas expeditions, available during Easter and October half-term, which will take place in South Africa, Borneo and Costa Rica.
Designed specifically for students aged 14–17, the programme offers an alternative to traditional school trips — combining adventure, leadership, cultural immersion, and environmental impact. Expeditions will include trekking, working on community or conservation-based projects, and learning practical skills through hands-on, student-led experiences while living in remote environments.
”“This exciting partnership provides a special opportunity for younger audiences to experience the Raleigh model of adventure, learningeadership development and meaningful impactskills-building — giving students an unforgettable and uniquely educational experience, whilst giving schools and parents peace of mind with trusted operators,
Lucy Brophy FernandezRaleigh International Managing Director
A meaningful and impactful Expedition
Through the programme young students will be offered something unique: a meaningful and impactful expedition, run by experts in their fields, that helps young people grow through challenge while travelling ethically and safely.
With over 57,000 people within its alumni network, Raleigh International programmes are known for building confidence, resilience, and global citizenship in its participants. Every phase of the new expedition journey is designed around real-world learning — from navigating and leading outdoors, to contributing to local initiatives and reflecting on their role in a global community.
The partnership also ensures full logistical and regulatory confidence for schools and families, with Camps International managing all bookings, travel arrangements, and compliance requirements under its ATOL licence.
Expeditions are open to schools across the UK, with custom group departures available from 2026 onwards. Each journey is fully supported from sign-up to return and delivered in line with the shared values of both organisations: integrity, impact, and a strong focus on the development of young people.
