RORY HALL
Regional Director
Raleigh is very close to my heart having been a trekking Project Manager in Costa Rica, a deputy Expedition Leader in Fiji, and Expedition Leader/Country Director in Borneo in my younger years. I’ve seen the impact Raleigh has on young people and the communities/environments in which they work, and it still makes the hairs on the back of my neck stand up when I think about it. Raleigh has had a profound impact on my life too – I learnt a lot during my 4 years and 10 or so Expeditions. I am delighted to see Raleigh back doing what it does best, and especially in Borneo.

NATIONAL PROJECT COORDINATORS
ON-THE GROUND SUPPORT
HAS CHANGED.
For Expeditions from October 2026 onwards, locally based, National Project Coordinators will support Venturers on the ground instead of recruiting international Venturer Managers to join for a specific Expedition. We’re confident this is the right step forward — helping us deliver better Expeditions, deepen our impact in communities, and keep safety our highest priority.
Raleigh Venturer Managers have played a central role in supporting thousands of young people on Expedition over the years and we’re extremely grateful for their commitment, energy and dedication.
