We host bi-weekly live info events where you’ll get time for Q&A with someone who’s been on Expedition. Or we have a pre-recorded session you can watch whenever you’re ready . They’re both designed to unpack all Expedition has to offer.

PRE-DEPARTURE
PREPARE PROPERLY
Once you book, the Traveller Gateway gives you the information, training supporting you through to Expedition and beyond. You’ll also be assigned a Venturer Coordinator. They’ll be your point of contact through to Expedition.

ON EXPEDITION
IN THE FIELD
On Expedition, guides and Project Coordinators support each group, backed by teams managing food, logistics, health and safety.
Expedition Managers, regional teams and our UK Head Office provide further support, with Raleigh operating a BS8848-compliant risk management system.

As an organisation that’s seen many transitions since starting in 1978, one thing is consistent. We run Expeditions. And we know everything you need to know to do that safely in locations most people don’t ever get the opportunity to see.
Founded by the now King Charles III and John Blashford-Snell, as Operation Drake, we’ve helped over 57,000 young people do what you’re thinking of doing. Some of them you’ll have heard of like Tim Peake and Prince William. But most are like you and are ready to push themselves in the name of transformation.
