Yesterday, we held the much-anticipated Alpha Allocations Ceremony, where the PMs and medics were assigned to their Alpha groups.

We have made it through Advance Week here at Fieldbase and on Sunday were really excited to welcome new arrivals – Our Project Managers and Medics! Later in the expedition we are expecting the arrival of our Finance Officer Douglas, then James joins us on Phase 2 as Project Manager and finally Carla completes the Medic Team when she joins us on Phase 2 and 3.

All of our Raleigh ICS Tanzania team leaders have now arrived safely at field base. We have started our two week induction programme and have already had some interesting and lively discussions on how the projects we plan to undertake have an impact on each one of the millennium development goals.

Tomorrow lunchtime we’ll gain ten project managers (PMs), two more adventure PMs, two more medics and two new Fieldbase staff, too. We’re more than a little excited about them coming!!
