Youth Trustees

We are looking for young leaders to join our Board of Trustees in June 2016. As a Trustee, you will oversee the governance of Raleigh and support the development and implementation of its strategy.

You will attend quarterly board meetings, contribute to subcommittee work and assist Raleigh’s CEO and her staff to fulfil the mission of the organisation – to create lasting change through youth.

To apply, you must be aged between 18 and 22, and have some previous experience of governance, whether that be sitting on a university committee or representing a youth council. Youth Trustees will be assigned with a mentor from the Board to help them engage effectively with the Board.

The closing date is midday on March 31st, with an assessment taking place in April/May.

Are you committed to making an impact in sustainable development and have a passion for working with and through youth?

We are recruiting new Trustees at Raleigh International, London.

Raleigh International works to harness the passion and energy of young people to deliver sustainable development in poor rural communities internationally.

We are looking for capable and influential leaders to strengthen our network and fundraising capabilities. You will be joining an action oriented Board of Trustees in June 2016. The role of the Board is to oversee the charitable governance and effective operation of Raleigh and its international programmes.

Responsibilities will include attending quarterly board meetings, contributing to subcommittee work and assisting the CEO and her staff to fulfil the mission of the organisation – to create Lasting Change through Youth.

Country Programme Manager (Borneo)

Country Programme Manager is an exciting and challenging new post within Raleigh Borneo’s senior management team. The purpose of the role will be to support the development of a robust Country Strategy and ensure its delivery through effective programme development and project cycle management. Key elements of this role will be developing a network of appropriate partner organisations; accurate monitoring and evaluation of our work; technical support and capacity building; and raising funds. It will suit a candidate who is driven to deliver positive outcomes and improvements within an established dedicated team.

Salary: £15,000 - £20,000 depending on experience
