Working with young people to create the world they want to see
Expeditions aren’t like other volunteer programmes. They combine working in an international team on remote community and environmental projects AND an unforgettable adventure trek in some of the most incredible areas of the world. You can choose from 5, 7 or 10 week Expeditions. You will be challenged, have an adventure and belong to something worthwhile.
Why volunteer on 1 project overseas when you can do 3?
Protect natural resources in national parks and 130 million year old primary rainforests.
You could be building sanitation blocks, raising awareness of hygiene, and providing clean water.
Develop your leadership and teamwork skills on a self-sufficient trek through breath-taking landscapes.
Why we do it
We support and encourage you to have an impact where it matters most. Last year over 100,000 people from around the world benefitted from our programmes. Our Expedition volunteers help empower local communities; by improving people’s access to safe water and sanitation, building stronger communities and protecting the world’s resources. This is your chance to create change in the communities we work in and develop skills for yourself. Read our 2015 Impact Report.
If you like variety then you’ve come to the right place
Expeditions include different people, projects, locations and challenges. There will be people like you and people from different backgrounds and cultures, including local volunteers from host countries. Together you’ll be a team with a common aim; to bring energy and inspiration to create the world that you want.
