About our Medics Apply now - Volunteer Managers

A few things before you start…

  1. Completing the form: Please make sure you are completing the right form for the role and programme you are interested in. The form must be completed all in one go (you cannot save and come back to it later) so please give yourself plenty of time. We suggest you look through the whole form before you start, to make sure you have all the information you need.
  2. T&Cs: Please read our terms and conditions and the Raleigh International Code of Conduct. We operate a no alcohol policy on our programmes. Please note, due to changing operational practices in response to COVID-19, we are currently reviewing our terms and conditions regarding cancellations and insurance cover. We will write to you once these are finalised to confirm changes. You will have the opportunity to review and agree (or reject, withdraw and request return of applicable contributions) in the near future.
  3. Visa eligibility: If you’re not from the UK, please check with the relevant embassy that you’re eligible for a visa to enter your Expedition country.
  4. Medical: Do you have a medical condition or a medical concern? Raleigh Expeditions are open to anyone who wants to apply, but it must be safe for you to take part. Please read our medical form. You do not need to complete this form until your application has been approved and you have been sent details of how and when to do so. If you have or previously have had any physical or mental health conditions or are currently taking any prescription medications,. You can apply before you have spoken to the Medical team however your place will not be guaranteed until after you have spoken to one of the nurses if you have a medical condition or concern.
